My name is Rachel, and I am a 22-year-old Washington kid with a lot of joy inside of me. I make recorded craft projects under the moniker Matty Cries. My favorite things in the world are Seattle, marine mammals, gross old clothes from Goodwill Outlet and homemade tee-shirts, eating at The Cheesecake factory, laughing with my realest friends, twee pop, dance parties, construction equipment, craft stores, and Conor Oberst's tour bus.

Making my album, writing my novel, going out to eat with my mom, arts and crafts of all sorts, frequenting the Seattle Aquarium (my favorite place on Earth), science, weird math, playing shows, dancing, wearing shirts with animals on them.
